Postdoctoral position in theoretical physics of condensed matter

The Johns Hopkins Institute for Quantum Matter announces a postdoctoral fellowship in theoretical physics of condensed matter. The position will be initially for one year and is extendable to two years. The successful candidate will collaborate with members of the Institute, including theorists Ari Turner and Oleg Tchernyshyov, whose interests include topological phases of matter, dynamics, quantum entanglement, classical and quantum magnetism. The Institute also offers close collaboration with experimental groups of Peter Armitage, Collin Broholm, Tyrel McQueen, and Bob Cava (Princeton).

Consideration of applications will start immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Interested candidates should submit a CV, a list of publication, and a research statement, and arrange for two letters of recommendation to be sent to apply.interfolio.com/33477.

The Johns Hopkins University is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer, and welcomes applications from women and members of underrepresented groups.
