Condensed Matter Physics Lab
The condensed matter physics lab is located in the Bloomberg Center for Physics and Astronomy at Johns Hopkins University. It is home to many devices such as multiple furnaces, a PPMS, and x-ray laue equipment. View more information about the lab here.
Multi Axis Crystal Spectrometer
The Multi Axis Crystal Spectrometer takes advantage of the large solid angle view of the cold source to deliver a high-intensity neutron beam at sample position. The large doubly focusing PG monochromator can deliver up to 5×10 neutrons/cm2/s in a 2 cm x 4 cm area at sample position, providing one of the highest neutron beams in the world.
